Awards and Recognitions: Patricia Pike Award

Started in 2025, the Patricia Pike Award honors a member whose steadfast commitment, generosity of spirit, and enduring service have left a lasting mark on the North Carolina Property Mappers Association. Named in recognition of Patricia Pike, whose passion for the advancement of the mapping profession and dedication to teaching have inspired countless members, this award represents more than volunteerism it embodies the heart of NCPMA.

Each year, this award celebrates an individual who exemplifies the spirit of selfless contribution through mentorship, education, and leadership, ensuring the continued growth and vitality of the Association for future generations. The initial award in 2025 was given to the Past President and decades-long Mapping School instructor for whom it was named.

Award Criteria:

  • The nominee must be a member in good standing (or a Lifetime Member).
  • The nominee must have volunteered in service to the Association and demonstrated a clear commitment to advancing both the mapping profession and the mission of NCPMA.
  • Nominations may be submitted by any Board Member, Program Committee Member, or Committee Chair.

Award Description:

Presented in appreciation of a significant and lasting impact on the Association, and in recognition of unwavering dedication, mentorship, and service to the advancement of the North Carolina Property Mappers Association.
